Like Killing Uriah
It’s been stated along in the Book
For the one who refuses the truth
If the curious eye go and look
How Uriah’s life the King took
Charmed since she was first seen
A glimpse and she’d become a Queen
No doubts from the eyes of a King
To hold her in the highest esteem
Water sprinkled over her figure
What a lovely and incredible picture!
She was the desire he’d stand for
A sin he’d give it all up for
And to Castle she was called to go
Unable she was to say no
The King’s passions have gone too low
But to other man her soul was to owe
Uriah’s been fooled with no shame
The King wouldn’t be one to blame
No one must know of this affair
Many ways to clear up the mistake
Inside her she felt a great storm
In her womb a Prince being formed
And this the husband would ignore
Oh, if he would’ve known before!
Loyal Uriah to the King came back
Betrayal on his wife was already marked
And relations with her were lacked
The King knew and was ready to attack
The King wanted to clear up the way
And Uriah was sent far away
In the field poor husband was slain
So the King with his wife would stay
The wisest Prince was then born
Justifying the acts of the torn
And for the King I feel no scorn
Bathsheba, she is the one I mourn
Your beauty inspired such a murder,
My loneliness pushes further
Hail the King, the mighty intruder
The example for me to go get’er
The wife, the Queen, the mother
The foolish, the beauty, the lover
The widow, the orphan betrayer
The one, I could not belong to other.
